IBPS RRB Officer Scale Eligibility criteria:


Eligibility for IBPS RRB officer scale 2022-2023 is prescribed as per nationality, age, and educational qualification. For detailed information see the below-mentioned table:


Age limit for candidates:

Officer Scale- I: 18 years+ & below 30 years.

Officer Scale-II: 21 years+ & below 32 years.

Officer Scale-III: 21 years+ & below 40 years.



Age Relaxation:

5 years for ST/SC candidates.

3 years for non-creamy layer OBC candidates.

10 years for PwD candidates.

Educational qualification of candidate:

Education qualification is prescribed according to the post.

Candidates having degrees in Agricultural Engineering, Veterinary Science, Animal Husbandry, Pisciculture, Agriculture, Horticulture, Forestry, Agricultural Marketing and Cooperation, Management, Law, Economics, and Information Technology. 


Candidates with Accountancy will be referenced.


Proficiency in the local language. 


Knowledge of Computer skills.

Officer Scale-II post (General Banking Officer)

Degree in any discipline with a minimum of 50% marks. 


Candidates having degrees in Horticulture, Forestry, Veterinary Science, Animal Husbandry, Agricultural Engineering, Finance, Marketing, Pisciculture, Banking, Law, Agriculture, Information Technology, Agricultural Marketing and Cooperation, Management, and Economics.


Candidates with Accountancy will be referenced.


Work experience of two years as an Officer in a Bank or in a Financial Institution.


Officer Scale-II post (Specialist Officers, IT) 

Degree in Electronics or Communication or Computer Science or Information Technology with a minimum of 50% marks.



Candidates with ASP, PHP, C++, VB, VC, OCP, Java, etc., certificates will be preferred.

Work experience  of one year (in the related field)


Officer Scale-II post (Specialist Officers (CA))

Certified Associate (CA) from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.

Work experience of one year (in the related field)


Officer Scale-II post (Specialist Officers (LA))

Degree in Law with a minimum of 50% marks.


Work experience of two years as an advocate or candidate should have worked as a Law officer in Banks or in Financial Institutions.



Officer Scale-II post (Specialist Officers, Treasury Manager)

Certified Associate (CA) from Institute of Chartered Accountants of India OR MBA in Finance.


Work experience of 1 Year (in the related field)


Officer Scale-II post Specialist Officers (Marketing Officer)

MBA in Marketing.

one year (in the related field)


Officer Scale-II post Specialist Officers (Agriculture Officer)

Degree in Agricultural Engineering, Dairy, Agriculture, Horticulture, Forestry, Veterinary Science, Animal Husbandry, Pisciculture with a minimum of 50% marks.


Two Years (in the related field)


Officer Scale-III post

Degree in any discipline with a minimum of 50% marks. 


Candidates having Degree or Diploma in Forestry, Veterinary Science, Animal Husbandry, Horticulture, Banking, Finance, Agricultural Engineering, Marketing, Agriculture, Pisciculture, Agricultural Information Technology, Marketing and Co-operation, Management, Law, Economics.


Accountancy will be given preference.



Minimum five years of experience as an Officer in any Bank or in a Financial Institution.




Nationality of candidate 

Citizen of India.

The subject of Nepal, Bhutan.

Tibetan refugees who have come to India to seek a settlement before January 1, 1962.

A person of Indian origin who has migrated from either  Zaire, Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, Ethiopia, Vietnam, Kenya, Tanzania, Malawi, or Zambia with the intention of permanent settlement in INDIA.
