The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) has released the notification for the CRP XIII IBPS Clerk 2023 recruitment drive. The online application process will start on 1st July 2023 and the last date to apply is 21st July 2023. IBPS Clerk exam is conducted by IBPS (Institute of Banking Personnel Selection) every year for the recruitment of clerical posts in 11 public sector banks all over the country. All the public sector banks use CRP as a base to fill the vacancies for this post. IBPS is going to conduct the Clerk exam for the 13th year for FY 2023-24 and hence named IBPS Clerk CRP XIII.

Eligibility Criteria:

The candidate must fulfil the following three criteria to be eligible for the IBPS Clerk Exam 2023-

1) Educational Qualification (as on 21/07/2023) - The educational qualification for IBPS Clerk is a degree (Graduation) in any discipline from a University recognized by the Government of India or any equivalent qualification recognized as such by the Central Government. 

2) Age Limit (as on 01/07/2023) - The candidate must be 20 Years to 28 Years. A candidate must have been born not earlier than 02.07.1995 and not later than 01.07.2003.

3) Nationality / Citizenship – 

The nationality/citizenship criteria for IBPS Clerk are as follows:

The candidate must be either:

A citizen of India.

A subject of Nepal or Bhutan.

A Tibetan refugee who came over to India before 1 January 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India.

A person of Indian origin who has migrated from Sri Lanka, Pakistan, Burma, Vietnam, or East African countries of the United Republic of Tanzania, Uganda, Kenya, Malawi, Zambia, Zaire, or Ethiopia to permanently settle in India.

Candidates belonging to countries other than India are required to produce an eligibility certificate issued by authorities recommended by the Government of India.

The candidate must produce a valid certificate of nationality/citizenship at the time of document verification.

How to Apply:

The candidates can apply for the CRP XIII IBPS Clerk 2023 recruitment drive through the official website of IBPS at ibps.in. The application process will start on 1st July 2023 and the last date to apply is 21st July 2023.

Selection Process:

The selection process for the CRP XIII IBPS Clerk 2023 recruitment drive will be conducted in two stages:

Preliminary Examination: The preliminary examination will be a computer-based test (CBT) consisting of 100 questions. The duration of the examination will be 60 minutes. The questions will be of multiple-choice objective type.

Main Examination: The main examination will be a CBT consisting of 190 questions with 200 marks. The duration of the examination will be 160 minutes. The questions will be of multiple-choice objective type.
Previously, Computer Aptitude and Reasoning Ability Section used to be conducted separately. But, in the recent update by IBPS, both these sections are amalgamated together and will constitute 50 questions that need to be solved in a time duration of 45 minutes. Application Fee:
The category-wise fee structure for IBPS Clerk online application is given below. Fee/Intimation charges once paid will not be refunded on any account nor can they be held in reserve for any other examination or selection. The application fee must be paid online itself. Salary:
The salary structure for IBPS Clerk is as follows-
Basic Pay: The basic pay for an IBPS Clerk is Rs. 19,900 per month.
Dearness Allowance (DA): The DA is a cost-of-living allowance that is paid to government employees to compensate for the rising prices of essential commodities. The DA is calculated as a percentage of the basic pay and is revised every six months.
House Rent Allowance (HRA): The HRA is a housing allowance that is paid to government employees to help them meet the expenses of their rent. The HRA is calculated as a percentage of the basic pay and is revised every six months.
Medical Allowance: The medical allowance is a reimbursement of medical expenses that is paid to government employees. The medical allowance is calculated as a percentage of the basic pay and is revised every six months.
Other Allowances: There are a number of other allowances that may be paid to IBPS Clerks, such as the transport allowance, the city compensatory allowance, and the special allowance.
The total salary for an IBPS Clerk will vary depending on the location of the posting, the grade of the employee, and the number of years of service. However, the starting salary for an IBPS Clerk is around Rs. 28,000 per month.
